Another major Yorkshire bird was found today when the County's second ever Blackpoll Warbler gave a rather too brief (for most) showing in Easington. First seen by Mick Turton in his garden this very mobile bird was enjoyed by about 15 of the Spurn regulars who were already on site + one who had left a short while earlier but managed to do a quick U'y in Thorngumbald and arrive back just in time. Well done to Rich Swales for managing to grab some more than satisfactory photos (below). Will it join Mick for breakfast tomorrow? Talk about jam!
